It's looking sparse around here while we put the finishing touches on a website overhaul and new storefront.
We're excited to unveil a new home for our Winter 2025 line, sections dedicated to one-of-a-kind and limited edition experimental designs, and collabs with other dreamers and artists.
Wild Fancy Design makes handmade jewelry, accessories, prints, stickers, and home and ritual goods for fabulous folks of all genders.
We're a team of two, creating all original designs out of our studio, focused on small batch, bespoke, and hand crafted pieces. Our offerings are centered on self-expression, grounded by queer magic, and rooted in liberation.
Our shop on Etsy is brimming with treasures. Shop your favorites there while we wrap up here.
We want to help you keep your pieces in good shape for years to come, so we’ve put together some tips on cleaning and caring for your jewelry and decor.
Jewelry made of raw brass is great because it is affordable and natural (not chemically plated). Since it’s a natural material (brass + zinc), it changes with time and exposure. Some people like the patina but if not, a little extra attention can bring back the shiny gold tone!
Keep it clean and dry. Wash occasionally with mild soap and pat dry.
To restore the shine, you can rub the surface with a thin layer of ketchup, followed by a thorough rinse. You can also use a jewelry polishing cloth.
Stainless steel is a durable, easy to care for metal that resists scratches and marring. Wash with water or a mild soap and pat dry.
If needed, polish with a jewelry polishing cloth.
Clean acrylic jewelry with warm water and a lint-free/microfiber cloth. If needed, add a tiny amount of soap or gentle, non-abrasive cleaner. You can also use pre-moistened wipes meant for lens/glasses cleaning.
After cleaning, pat dry.
Do not use alcohol-based cleaners. Avoid harsh cleaners and rough cloths, as they may damage the surface.
Our wood jewelry is hand painted on solid hardwood and sealed to help protect and make it easy to care for. To clean, wipe with plain water and a soft cloth, then blot dry. Cleaning with anything other than water may damage the surface.
Avoid exposing wood jewelry to prolonged moisture. Don't forget to take it off before you shower, slip into a hot tub, or jump in a river!
We use a variety of materials for jewelry chain & findings (necklace clasps, earring hooks, connectors). As a general guideline, try to keep it dry and avoid wearing directly after applying moisturizers to your skin.
The shop listing for your jewelry contains info about which chain or earring hook is used. Since there are so many variables, please contact us for specific care instructions or questions about materials.
Our hand painted decor is sealed to help make it easy to care for and protect against water and UV damage.
To clean, use plain water and wipe with a soft cloth. Cleaning sprays may damage the surface.
Though it has a water-resistant coating, we recommend drying any water that pools on it.

The test tubes are glass and can be washed with soap and water or a glass cleaner. Use a cloth to dry it before placing it back in the holder.
We use acrylic or glass mirrors. If you’re unsure which one is used in your piece, contact us to confirm. A clean lint free microfiber or wipes made for eyeglass lens cleaning is a great choice for either surface.
Clean glass mirrors by applying water or glass cleaner to a soft cloth. Avoid spraying wood with cleaners.
As the surface of acrylic mirrors is more delicate, treat it with care. To clean, use warm water and a lint-free/microfiber cloth. Do not use alcohol or alcohol-based cleaners.
Our tea strainers are made of solid cherry, a food-safe and sustainably-sourced hardwood. We seal them with hemp oil to help condition and protect the wood.
If you want to wash it, wipe it with a sponge and blot dry. Never let it soak! You can run it under water, but if left to soak it's likely to warp.
Stainless steel baskets may be washed by hand or in the dishwasher.
We recommend occasionally adding protective coatings. Coatings can be pre-made butcher block or spoon oils/sealers, your own beeswax and oil blend, or stable food-grade oils such as coconut, hemp, or mineral oils.
Our prints are on acid-free, archival papers. To help ensure you get to enjoy them long into the future, keep out of direct sunlight. Even better, frame them under UV-protective glass.
Our stickers are durable, weather-resistant, uv-protective, permanent vinyl.
When applying to a hard surface (like your laptop, water bottle, phone case), make sure surface is clean, wipe with isopropyl alcohol, let dry fully before applying sticker.
To help stickers last longer on food/beverage containers, hand washing is recommended.
